Suitable for everyone, these drop-in classes offer simple, practical methods to improve the quality of our lives and develop inner peace. These classes focus on using Buddhist understanding to help us solve our daily problems, let go of negative minds and find the lasting happiness we seek.

Each class includes breathing meditation, teaching and guided meditation on topic of the night. There is also an opportunity to ask questions. Although taught as a series, each class is self-contained and can be attended individually. Please feel free to drop-in on a class-by-class basis, or enjoy the full series. These classes are suitable for both beginners and those with more experience.

overcoming anxiety class

We have all experienced overwhelming feelings of anxiety and worry. When we are held in the grasp of anxiety, we often find it difficult to find our way back to a peaceful mind. However, through applying ancient Buddhist wisdom, we can overcome anxiety and worry completely and experience peace of mind all the time. In this 5-week course we will look at various contemplations and meditations to lessen and eventually abandon completely these overwhelming feelings of anxiety and worry.

Dealing with Difficult people drop-in class series

There are often people in our lives whose presence seems to affect us in a negative way, leading us to develop unpeaceful states of mind and perhaps engage in unskillful actions.  In this course, we’ll explore Buddha’s advice on how to deal with these seemingly difficult people in our lives and learn how to transform our interactions with them into the path to permanent peace and happiness.
